The website architecture, source code, and design are the intellectual property of Kyle Baker under UK copyright law. Waldringfield & District Bowls Club is granted a non-exclusive licence to use this platform for club operational purposes.

Unauthorised copying, redistribution, or modification of this website's code is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the owner.

We collect and store only the minimum data necessary to operate the site:

• Usernames and display names for registered members
• Rink booking details (date, time, type, number of rinks)
• Fixture and competition data entered by club administrators
• Photos uploaded to the club gallery
• IP addresses for security and abuse prevention purposes

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.

• Usernames are used solely to identify bookings and competition entries
• IP addresses are logged temporarily for security purposes (brute force protection)
• No data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties
• No data is used for advertising or marketing purposes

This site uses the following cookies:

• Session cookies — essential for login functionality. These expire when you close your browser.
• CSRF cookies — essential for form security. Required by Django.

• Fixture and competition records are kept indefinitely as part of club history
• Rink bookings are kept for the current season and may be cleared at season end
• User accounts are retained until a deletion request is made
• IP address logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days

• All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing (PBKDF2)
• All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS)
• Login attempts are rate limited to prevent brute force attacks
• The site is hosted on Render, a reputable cloud platform with its own security measures

• Render — cloud hosting provider. Subject to their own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage tracking. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Bootstrap & jQuery — frontend libraries loaded from CDN. No personal data is sent to these services.

Waldringfield & District Bowls Club is responsible for the accuracy of club data entered by its administrators.
